New feature in the Nedis SmartLife app: Energy Saving
Get insights in your energy consumption with the new energy saving advice feature in the Nedis SmartLife app. In order to reduce power consumption and costs, you’ll need knowledge of your electric appliances. Which product consumes the most electricity in your home? When is the product in use?
The new feature will provide you with figures and visual representation of your usage. You can learn a lot about power management using this feature which is now available in the Nedis SmartLife app.

Provide insight
The app will provide you with data about your electricity consumption habits:
- It will give you an overview of energy consumption and costs, which will help you save energy and reduce electricity costs.
- You get all the energy consumption data of multiple devices in one overview in the application
- Set a notification when you reach the power consumption limit
(free) Basic features:
- Total energy consumption per day
- Setting the power of the product
- Notification when reaching the set energy consumption for a day, week or month.
Extra features with subscription: - Subscription:
- Total energy consumption per hour
- Hourly or daily energy costs based on entered energy prices.
- Comparison with yesterday, last week or last month in the chart
- Details of individual products (consumption, cost and duration for the last seven days in graphs).
This feature is available for consumption monitors, smart plugs and switches.
More products will be added from the end of December:
- Heating and air conditioning with different states and their different outputs
- Lighting (with dimming power)
- More Nedis SmartLife products will be added with pre-populated wattage values"

How does it work?
You can easily connect your products to one of the consumption monitors or smart plugs from the Nedis SmartLife range. Products can send data about their consumption to the Nedis SmartLife application. When setting energy prices, you get a clear overview of your costs. If you use a plug or switch without a consumption monitor, you can set the power consumption of the product in the application. The application will provide you with an estimate of the consumption of the product.
